INTRODUCTION TO METHOD 12

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This is a study of concepts, methodological strategies, movements and figures which must be taught in the first levels of Tango learning from the first class and during three-month classes. This is a goal to reach in order to try to organize a dancing that is extremely free and full of possibilities.

It is also an open-minded vision of the basics of a constantly expanding dancing, which has evolved exceptionally in superior stages, but has been to a standstill in initial learning stages, leaving some gaps and disconnections.

This method includes contents with essential concepts a student must learn during his initial stage to start understanding and organizing Tango.

These contents are functional, immediately applicable and include the explanation of their reasons. They do not overwhelm nor bore the student and do maintain their attention.
